We realize the tremendous growth, especially in social and cognitive processes, at this stage in life and strive to provide developmentally-appropriate learning opportunities in fun and meaningful ways.  Fueled by our students' innate intellectual curiosity, our goal is to establish a foundation for a life-long love of learning and inquiry.  We place equal importance on the development of appropriate social skills, including empathy, conflict resolution and how we can "show God's love" to our friends and family.

The Preschool at St. Mark’s is situated adjacent to the main school building. Our program offers classes for students ranging from two to five years of age.

The Preschool 2 (PS2) and Preschool 3 (PS3) classes are a three or five day offering for those children who will turn two or three respectively by September 1st of the year of admission. Our Preschool 4 (PS4) and Kindergarten programs are five day classes and serve students who are 4 and 5 respectively by September 1st of the year of admission. Three day classes are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as we have found this model to be most effective for student learning and retention.

The PS2, PS3 and PS4 day, as covered by basic tuition, is from 8:00 – 12:00.  For your convenience, we offer flexible, extended day options until 1:30, 3:00, 4:30 or 5:30 for these students. Kindergarten is from 8:00 – 3:00, with the option of a contracted 1:30 pick up.  Kindergarten students may also take advantage of extended care until 4:30 or 5:30.
