Seventh graders present social studies projects
After months of research and writing, St. Mark's Cathedral School seventh graders presented projects on topics of their choice at the annual Social Studies Fair on December 1. This year's topics were History and Louisiana History; the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners have an opportunity to advance to the Regional I Social Studies Fair in January at LSU Shreveport.
History:
1st Place - Caroline S., The Last Day of Pompeii
2nd Place - Ryan J., The Attack on Pearl Harbor
3rd Place - Maddie S., Which is Witch?
Louisiana History:
1st Place - Bunker W., The History of Tiger Stadium
2nd Place - Frances J., Caddo Canoe
3rd Place - Jake M., The Chicken Behind the Kitchen
