As St. Mark’s Cathedral School continues to build strong enrollment momentum and deepen its commitment to exceptional family engagement, the school is pleased to announce Catherine Humphrey '13 as Director of Admissions, beginning in 2026-2027.

For the past five years, Catherine has served as a dedicated 2nd grade teacher, fostering an engaging and nurturing learning environment for her students. She has also led the school’s cheer program, a role she plans to continue. A 2013 graduate of St. Mark’s, Catherine was baptized at and continues to attend St. Mark’s Cathedral. After graduating from St. Mark’s, she attended Byrd High School and Louisiana State University, and recently earned her master’s degree from Louisiana State University Shreveport.

As Director of Admissions, Catherine will lead efforts to attract and enroll mission-appropriate families while guiding them thoughtfully through the admissions process. Her deep knowledge of the school's mission and culture, combined with her relational strengths and enthusiasm for the community, position her well for this role.

This leadership addition reflects the school’s growth and the expanding scope of both admissions and strategic communications work. Recognizing these as two distinct and essential areas of leadership, St. Mark’s has established dedicated focus for each, allowing the team to serve families with even greater depth and capacity.

With this transition, Caroline Andress, current Director of Admissions & Marketing, will focus more deeply on marketing, communications, and brand strategy. In this dedicated role, she will continue strengthening how St. Mark’s connects with current families, shares the vibrant life of the school with prospective families, and supports advancement initiatives through mission-centered storytelling.
