Celebrating Mardi Gras 2023
Preschool students at St. Mark’s Cathedral School celebrated Mardi Gras in style on February 21. Royalty from the Krewe of Justinian greeted students with beads during morning carpool and talked to them about Mardi Gras. Students then marched in the first annual Preschool Mardi Gras parade. Preschool 2 students led the way as the marching band, playing musical instruments for Lower and Middle School spectators to enjoy. Preschool 3, Preschool 4, and kindergarten students followed, proudly displaying festively decorated shoebox floats and tossing beads to the crowd. St. Mark’s staff member Calvin Jones served as the Grand Marshal.

Third graders gave their families a little "Taste of Louisiana" with their annual presentation which included songs, artwork, public speaking, and Louisiana food.
