Mark Henry '21 named Loyola's Ernst Scholar
St. Mark's Cathedral School eighth grader Mark Henry '21 has been named Loyola College Prep's Ernst Scholar for the Class of 2025 for scoring the highest on this year's entrance exam. This distinction allows him to receive a $1,000 tuition credit for four years to attend Loyola College Prep.
The Ernst Scholarship was named in honor of the first lay principal of Jesuit High School/Loyola College Prep from 1972-1985, Mr. Robert H. Ernst. Mark is the twenty-seventh student to win this award, and his achievement is celebrated on a plaque in the Loyola's office, leaving his mark on Loyola forever.
