The St. Mark's Cathedral School swim team competed in the North Louisiana Middle School Swim Championship on April 20 in Ruston. The Lions finished in second place overall with a total score of 146. Both the girls team (57 points) and boys team (89 points) earned second place in their respective divisions.
The student-athletes swam a great meet with lots of exciting races and several top 10 finishes. Eighth grader Enzo P. was crowned 50m freestyle champion, and several swimmers earned top three finishes in some of their races - Enzo P. (8th grade), Elizabeth R. (7th grade), Bella H. (5th grade), Harper M. (7th grade) and Larkin D. (6th grade).
Congratulations, Lions!
