Basketball

2025-2026 Registration Now Open!

St. Mark’s is a member of the Association of Shreveport Private Schools basketball league, which sponsors competition between five member schools. Basketball is open to all 5th-8th grade students.

Girls Season: The girls basketball teams will begin practice the week of August 18-22. Our first game will be the first week of September, and the season should be over by Thanksgiving Break.

Boys Season: The boys basketball teams will begin practice once the girls season concludes (after Thanksgiving Break). Games will start in January, and the season will end in March.

Fee: $200 per student (payable by FACTS or online by credit card). The basketball fee covers:

  • 1 game-day uniform (players return to the school at the end of the season)
  • 1 quarter-zip pullover for players to keep (returning players do not need to purchase a new pullover unless they need a new size)
  • League/referee fees

In addition to these items, all athletes are required to wear the St. Mark's P.E. uniform to every practice.
