Basketball

Open to all 5th-8th grade students

St. Mark’s is a member of the Association of Shreveport Private Schools basketball league, which sponsors competition between five member schools.

Girls Season: The girls basketball teams will begin practice the week of August 19-23. The season should be over by Thanksgiving Break.

Boys Season: The boys basketball teams will begin practice once the girls season concludes (after Thanksgiving Break). Games will start in January, and the season will end in March.

Fee: $200 per student (payable by FACTS or online by credit card). The basketball fee covers:

  • 1 game-day jersey
  • 1 pair of game-day shorts
  • 1 quarter-zip pullover
  • League/referee fees

In addition to these items, all athletes are required to wear the St. Mark's P.E. uniform to every practice.
